I think the photo says it all......there was some left to go in the oven!
It was good to spend sometime with Tom with Violet watching closely picking up a few tips! the cakes were very yummy but I have had to hide some away as Tom thinks that because he made them he has to eat them all....
How cool are the new food colourings I picked up from Asda, this one is beetroot. I have always avoided artifical colours with the boys as they even the smallest amount sent them loopy but now we can have coloured icing & Tom choose pink!
ps..thanks guys for your comments on my last post, things have been such a struggle in so many ways and it was lovely to have such warm words & kind wishes....

I will have to look for some of those colourings in Asda when I go.
My boys loved baking when they were little and now they are all grown up, they can still whip up a cake!
